Election Season 2015 & 2016
Primary Day in CT for the Presidential Nominees is a few months away.
While so many eyes are on the interesting events going on at the debates
We do have the local town elections only days away
Are you tired of the increasing taxes & less services & failing schools?
Are you tired of the bullying going on at the town hall meetings, closed door deals & being ignored by the elected officials?
Then this election you need to change the make up for the Town Council & Board of Ed
The democrats have been in control for so many years they are arrogant
They ignore the people coming in to the meetings asking questions
They disrespect us when we come in stating our case that We The People Need Tax Breaks & we are hurting
Are you tired of being marginalized when we say we do not want the wasteful spending?
If you are tired of the insults & name calling when you disagree with the democrats…
Then it’s time to Vote in the Entire Republican Slate this year
Change Must Begin With YOUR Vote this year

The discussion is quite interesting over at facebook, several pages have gotten this video passed on from the page “Save Connecticut 2014”
The video which is being discussed has been seen previously late 2013 or maybe early 2014 but the video is important because although the men & women speaking in the videos are from another city (Detroit?) they all very well could be men & women right here in the inner cities of Hartford, Bridgeport or Waterbury.
While the democrats in the top tier refuse to debate with the Republicans they run attack ads that mislead & lie while they avoid talking about their records.
The video points out that it’s the democrats in charge that have ruined their lives.
In CT this is also true with our democrat controlled general assembly.
Due to having Republican governor’s that have vetoed some of the outrageous spending our state’s demise has been slow to total ruin until the past 4 years.
Now the democrat controlled general assembly is up for re-election, many following their top tier leadership refusing to show up for debates to defend their actions or misdirecting away from the reality of their “plans to raise taxes again”
Will you re-elect men & women who have given us the income tax, raised the sales tax & are planning tax increases every time they talk about how they’re going to change CT?
Are you going to say no to raising taxes & shrinking paychecks?
Are you going to say no to corporate welfare & cronyism?
Are you going to say no to outsourcing of taxpayer money?
Do you want to continue on the same downward path to bankruptcy?
Then Will You VOTE Republican to change CT?
If you fail to speak up with the power of your vote then you are part of the failing system we have

CT the Tax Money Pit
CT is at the “bottom of the list” for too many lists
This facebook post is a good pictorial of the business reports that have done the research & are reporting just how poorly our state is doing.
Far too long we’ve had 1 party rule in the CT General Assembly with both republican Governors & Democrat ones –
We’ve been going down hill for too long to place the blame on any one governor; the constant has been our State Senators & State Reps who unlike the governors have been in offices up at the capitol for 20+ to 30+ years.
CT if you are finally tired of the money mismanagement & the ever-increasing taxes then #YouHaveAChoice to make
Will you keep the status quo & stay on the same downward spiral that we are in?
Or will you choose to make #AFreshNewStart
Time is running out for us here in the Nutmeg State & it is time for you to think seriously about who are you going to vote for this year…. #ChooseWell
Communications – Yes I want to hear from YOU
One of the things that I feel is the biggest reason for our state & our country falling apart is the lack of communications between the citizens & the elected officials once they get into office
When our country was founded it was designed with the idea that our elected officials would live & continue to work among the citizens of the state & therefore would be accessible to the citizens during the year.
We were supposed to be have ongoing discussions about what is occurring in our areas with the elected but that seems to have been forgotten.
Unfortunately as the many years have passed there has been a disconnect between the people & the elected.
The elected have become a “class” of people that have become removed from the people.
As the distance between the elected & the people grows the Special Interests drive a wedge with their money to push the elected to make & vote for laws that do nothing to help our families, small businesses & seniors & many times have in fact been been laws that have been outright hurtful to our citizens.
I have several social media connections as a way to interact.
I also have a 24-7 voice mail as a way for voters to keep in contact which I intend to keep going as a way for us to communicate.
I want to have discussions via teleconference about the proposed laws that are being reviewed; as well as asking for input on what is deemed to be a problem.
If there is something that the citizens feel is a problem how do citizens in the 2nd District feel should be the options for solving that problem.
When was the Last Time that YOU were asked for input on the lawmaking process?
“We the People” means just that; the people who live in the 2nd District are the people whose needs are supposed to be the primary concern of the Senator that is sent up to represent them up in the halls of Hartford’s Legislative Building.
Special Interest Groups & Lobbyists should not be given the access to our elected that the citizens do not have on a daily basis.

Where are you in the Social Media world?
I think that one reason that people are so disconnected from the elected people is due to not being connected to them on a more personal level so there is no accountability between the people being elected & the citizens in our towns, I say we can change this right now
I do want to change this & am looking for the best ways to connect with the people in the 2nd District
In addition to this blog which has comments enabled I am on FaceBook & G+ & YouTube
I have opened up a 24/7 voicemail so that regardless of the time of day someone can call & leave me a message about what they think is a problem, a suggestion about what we should work on to improve life for all of us & any money saving ideas that we can look into & any potential fraud that might be needing to get looked at.
Let’s work together to turn the 2nd District & our state around & back on to the right track

#CTPolitics – Visconti & Pelto The Waiting Game Aug 2014
“Spoilers” that is what both Joe Visconti & Jonathan Pelto are being called by their parties.
Joe is a Republican petitioning his way on to the ballot this year. He & his team of volunteers collected between 10,000 & 10,500 signatures & turned them into the 169 town clerks after getting all of the pages notarized.
Jonathan is a Democrat who has started his own party in addition to collecting signatures. It is unknown at this time how many signatures Jonathan has turned into the town clerks.
This is quite an interesting year in politics in CT
Hold on to your hats & go get a manicure to clean up your bitten nails; because it’s about to get even more interesting once the debates get going
We will Not Conform event 7-22 & 7-29
Last night 7-22-14 across the country cinemas were showing the live event “We Will Not Comply”
Some cinemas were filled to capacity others only a few people attended but everyone learned something new
Several of us who attended the Bloomfield Cinema introduced ourselves to each other & chit chatted about what we saw & heard & possible next steps
The manager of the cinema said that he will make available Buy 1 Get 1 coupons for those who want to attend the replay event on the 29th so call them directly to get the information on where those will be available if you missed the Live Event yesterday
As a Homeschool Mother I am encouraging parents to homeschool if they can make the commitment – there are many more options out there now than when I was educating my children
Although my own children are grown I am fighting for All of Our Children & Families to have their tax dollars spent on QUALITY Education rather than wasted making a few select businessmen like Bill Gates richer
This election cycle make it your personal mission to find out where each of the candidates stand on Common Core
I know that it can be frustrating as a citizen to feel that you are not being listened to, but during election years you do have a bit more access to the candidates & make use of this season to make informed choices about where each stands regardless of party Who Will Fight for Your Family?
If you live in the CT 2nd Senate District you have a candidate here who is going to fight for your family to remove Common Core from CT & make certain that parents who want to homeschool are not given a hard time in the process of removing their children from public schools
If you still do not fully understand what common core is & why it is bad for our children or how to get it out of our state then I do suggest that you attend the Replay Event on the 29th with family & friends to discuss what you’re seeing & hearing & compare notes about what you know is going on in your schools & taxes increases for the BoE & school administrations
