Once again the elected officials are talking about raising taxes; which hurts our Businesses both big and small and the Working Class Families are the ones who are hurt the worst.

Are you tired of the out of touch elected officials wasting our families money on special interests and crazy projects?

Then maybe it’s time to gather together at the town halls and at the capitol and tell them #NoNewCTTaxes !

Look around you when you are driving home tonight and; 

Specifically look around to see …
Just how many empty storefronts, closed businesses and; restaurants there are?
Those are people Not Working, people that aren’t working don’t have as much money to spend buying other things & going out to eat or taking their families on vacations.

How many Empty Homes & For Sale Signs are on the streets as you drive during your day? 
Those are families that are no longer part of the stable taxpaying CT Economy, no longer contributing to other families working by using Roofers, Plumbers, Carpenters or buying big ticket items for their homes.

Do we need something else that will close more businesses and hurt more working class families?

Do we need for our elected officials to stop attacking the small business owners and start cutting out the expensive projects that while are nice things to have but we just can not afford right now?

Will your job be next on the chopping block? 

Can you and your family afford to keep on paying these increasing taxes?

The Pinch

Sharing this repost from last year because the New General Assembly members are now officially seated & they need encouragement & reminder calls about why we voted for them to be in office

The democrats have been in power for many decades, some of them have been in office for longer than 30 years. They have gotten arrogant in their attitudes & they have grown protective of their expensive pet projects that benefit only their crony friends while putting our families at both financial as well as physical risk.

The democrats have gotten to be experts at both spending our tax money on wasteful projects & luxury items for themselves but additionally they have become experts in hiding the true costs when they roll items up & put them into the bonding.

Call your elected officials at the state capitol this week

Tell them to Work on Balancing the Budget by making the cuts that are needed instead of cutting services that help our families.
Now is the time for our elected officials to get to work towards starting the much needed downsizing of our government.
They can start by cutting the extra expenses that they have forced us to pay for like big cuts to the CEP Program.
The CEP aka Citizens Election Program gives taxpayer money to the candidates that have “qualified” by raising certain levels of money. The amount varies by race & party but the amounts are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars for state senate & state rep positions & in the millions for the statewide races.
That money can be better spent making certain that we have the needed services for the families that are needed.

DON’T GET RIPPED OFF BY MDC IMPOSTERS

This warning has been given out back in November by me but this warning post from Kevin Brookman is worthy of a share because he actually has the press release in the article that he posted; in addition to his always worthy of a read even if you do not agree with him commentary.

There were 2 Reader comments plus his own reply that should get people asking some questions about our water bills….

Who are the people that are connected to the reasons why our water bills are going up higher than ever while their corporate buddies are getting a sweetheart deal at our expense….

MDC WARNS OF SUSPECTED IMPOSTERS
November 30, 2016
For Immediate Release
HARTFORD — The Metropolitan District Commission (MDC) is advising customers to be cautious of an individual posing as a water company employee in an attempt to enter residential homes.
On Tuesday, November 29, a male suspect claiming to be from the water company attempted to gain access to several Hartford apartments in the vicinity of James Street, telling the residents there was a problem with their water bill. No further details are available at this time.
The MDC urges all residents, especially those who are home during the day, to be alert for imposters by following these tips:
  • MDC field employees wear clothing and drive vehicles clearly marked with the MDC logo.
  • The MDC encourages customers to stay secure within the home while asking for identification from anyone who comes to their door.  All MDC employees have photo identification badges and will gladly display them upon request.  The policy is “No Identification – No Entry” .
  • If someone comes to your door claiming to be from the water company and you do not have a previously scheduled appointment, do not allow access to your home until calling the MDC Command Center at 860-278-7850 ext 3600 to verify their identity.
  • If you have any doubt about the individual’s identity or motives, or authenticity of their credentials, do not allow them entry into your home and call the police.
 
Maybe the next step should be to distribute a flyer of MDC Chairman Bill diBella and the MDC Commissioners to our suburban neighbors. The MDC’s plan to shove Hartford’s debt off onto member towns will cost residents more than any imposters ever could.

If you’re not yet familiar with this news site you should go on over & catch up on the news that the local media does not cover… many times they (WTPH) are the source for the Breaking News that the major media get their story ideas from yet rarely give this valuable news site credit for.

Did CNN Crew just joke about Trump Plane Crashing?

Wow just at a loss for words at how disrespectful for life they are over at CNN & especially the life of the president of the USA is just beyond comprehension…

Wayne Dupree posted this clip of the CNN Reporter & her off camera producer speaking

I did see some articles pass through the social media timelines that mentioned a firing due to the off air remarks but to see that they got it on video… to see it is quite disappointing but this year seems to be just one big disappointment after another with the major media not acting as it should.

Seriously is it approriate to joke on the job about planes crashing, especially the presidents plane in this day of terrorism? 

During the set-up for Trump’s Carrier speech, at about the 1:20 mark, a producer in the background says,

“Trump’s Plane is about to land. If I do this, he’s landed”

And then she says, “If I do this, he’s crashed, hopefully.”

You can see Suzanne Malveaux snicker and roll her eyes when she hears this.
