The poll was not widely accessible nor was it available for everyone that watched the debate in person or via livestream to be able to vote because it was a vote by texting to a tele-code which is not available (accessible) on all cellphones nor does it take into consideration the many people who do not wish to get text messages from the CT GOP or it’s candidates which that type of polling opens up anyone voting to
Below is a proper poll which lists all of the currently known candidates on the CT GOP possible Convention ticket in May some are still in the Exploratory phase & others are Declared but did not attend the debate because they had not met the fundraising requirement that the chairman had set of $75,000.00 so they had their own events either prior or during via fabcebook live.
Cast your vote for any of the candidates or write in your own CT GOP candidate

A panel of community service members will be represented (will update with list in an upcoming post) to discuss what to look for in our youth who might be suffering depression and would be at risk for suicide,
The purpose of the discussion is to assist us in being aware of the signs of a person in crisis, understanding the effects of bullying on our youth and adolescents, and letting us know what community services are available to us to assist with suicide prevention.
Due to the nature of the discussion younger children may not be advisable to attend, but teens might benefit and be able to add to the discussion with their questions.
In light of the recent teen suicides in the state and country any parent or grandparent should consider attending

We’re in the process of becoming “Successful Quitters”
The only Quitting that is acceptable is quitting an addiction to cigarettes or any other unhealthy habit that has taken a strong hold in our lives.
Although not fully smoke free Hubby is almost & I have cut down on the number which I’ve been smoking with the help of the e-Cigs.
Think that in Jan we’ll try to totally give up the tobacco & just use the vaporizers until we can give those up too.
Anyone looking to also give up smoking in the coming new year? Want to start a “Quit Club”, a support group online & off to get through the rough patches? Any successful quitters want to chime in on how you dealt with the quitting process?
