Remembering 9-11

Each year that goes by little by little it seems a bit of our historical memory is lost

At some time in the future will the memory of what happened on 9-11 be washed away?

I hope that it will not be forgotten, what are you doing to keep the memory alive?

Windsor – Budget Vote July 14th 2015 – Vote NO to More Tax Increases

The Democrats on the School Board & the Town Council have no regard for tax payers of Windsor

Not only did they NOT Listen to the Voters at the last budget vote they increased the budget!

The Bullies in the majority party have slapped the over taxed homeowners in the face with an INCREASE Over the Budget that was Voted Down already

Are you Over Taxed?
Are You Tired of being the Cash Cow for projects & scams that Do Not Work?
Then Vote NO & tell them that we are tired of giving 6 figure salaries to the administration & their crony friends

Vote NO to Tax Increases

TAX on back of bent over man

2015 RiverFest ConnectiCon CT July 10 & 11

2 Cities 1 River lots of Food & Fireworks & Comic book Characters!

Yes it’s time for Hartford & East Hartford to showoff their ability to entertain

This year the weekend is an extended RiverFest with the addition of the Food Truck Rally

So instead of just the 1 day of festivities RiverFest has expanded into an multi-day event

With the Comic Book Convention in town for several days they added the Food Truck Rally this year to give the convention attendees alternatives for what they could eat.

The Comic Book Convention (it’s not officially ComiCon I’ve been told but I don’t know it’s official name at this moment) is quite interesting for those of us who aren’t actually all into the culture to see the true fans all decked out in their costumes.
Being a bit older & more than a few years since reading a comic book there are many characters that I do not know but it is really cool to see that there are more women characters so it means that there must be more super heroes that are women which is nice. (I was not really into the whole princess in distress thing as a girl)

Saturday is the Traditional RiverFest with both East Hartford & Hartford working together with shows, booths, crafters & performances on both sides of the river ending with the fireworks that it has been known for.

FireWorks at RiverFest on the CT River
